Graduated in 1977 from Cheltenham, England.

Scott is a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1993, graduating from Reese Institute School of Massage Orlando Florida, USA.

Since 1994, Scott has been a massage therapy and bodywork Instructor at many massage schools, colleges and universities here in Florida. They include, Reese Institute School of Massage Therapy, Keiser University, Cocoa Beach School of Massage Therapy, Central Florida School of Massage Therapy, Daytona Institute of Massage Therapy, Orlando Acupuncture School and Florida College of Natural Health.

Adrenal Awakening Massage Therapy
Massage Orlando Florida

  • 60 or 90 minutes

  • Complete the brief Adrenal Fatigue Questionnaire

  • Muscle-Energy Test the Adrenal Glands


Face Down - Prone Position

  1. Place Hot Stones or a hot pack placed on the whole back and spine

  2. Gently induce a Stillpoint at the occiput

  3. Sedate Triple Warmer Meridian for 2 minutes by slowly tracing from temple, around the ears, down the side of the neck to the top of the Trapezium muscle

  4. Energy trace Urinary Bladder Meridian 3 times, from head to little toe

  5. Place your right hand on the left side of the body and your left hand on the right side of the body for 1 minute

  6. Place your left hand on the right side of the body and your right hand on the left side of the body for 1 minute

  7. Reflexology Massage the feet, focusing on the adrenal glands in the arch of the foot and the Kidney Meridian Tsubo point 1 on the bottom of the foot

  8. Massage the achilles tendon

  9. Remove the Hot Stones or the hot pack and place on the feet for grounding

  10. Lymphatic Drainage Massage the back focusing on the Adrenal and Kidney regions

  11. Place 9 drops of the Adrenal Awakening Essential Oil Mixture on the spinal column (Rosemary, Basil, Nutmeg, Clove and Pine Needle in a base of pure, organic Coconut oil)

  12. Massage this blend into the whole back, shoulders and neck

  13. Figure 8's at the L3 (lumbar 3rd vertabra) to balance and recharge the Kidneys and Adrenal glands

  14. Hopi Indian Technique on each vertabra


Face Up - Supine Position

  1. Place Hot Stones or a hot pack on the abdomen

  2. Softly induce a Stillpoint at the occiput

  3. Energy trace counter clockwise the Root or Muladhara Chakra for 3 minutes to stop, clear and unblock it

  4. Energy trace clockwise the Root or Muladhara Chakra for 2 minutes to start and balance it

  5. Lymphatic Drainage of the face, throat and neck

  6. Massage the face, neck and head

  7. Crown Pull at the top of the head 5 times

  8. Thymus Thump

  9. Spleen Pump

  10. Massage Tsubos: Urinary Bladder Meridian 1; Triple Warmer Meridian 23; Kidney Meridian 27

  11. Massage Ears

  12. Energy trace the Triple Warmer meridian backwards 9 times, from the temple to the fourth or ring finger

  13. Hold the beginning Tsubo and the end Tsubo of the Triple Warmer

  14. Hold Triple Warmer Tsubo 23 at the right temple and the 2 Adrenal energy points above the naval for 3 minutes

  15. Hold Triple Warmer Tsubo 23 at the left temple and the 2 Adrenal energy points above the naval for 3 minutes

  16. Hold Triple Warmer Tsubo 23 at the right temple and the 2 Adrenal energy points below the naval for 3 minutes

  17. Hold Triple Warmer Tsubo 23 at the left temple and the 2 Adrenal energy points below the naval for 3 minutes

  18. Reflexology of the hands and fingers

  19. Cranial Sacral Sphenoid Lesion Release

  20. Zip Up the Conception Meridian 5 times

  21. Reflexology of the feet and toes

  22. Either strengthen or sedate Kidney Meridian: Strengthen - K7, K3, SP3; Sedate - K1, LV1, K3, SP3

  23. Muscle-Energy Test the Adrenal Glands


Energy Testing The Adrenals:

1. Use the Spleen test while client touches (energy localizes) the front of the Adrenal points (one inch above navel and one inch out to each side). Test one point at a time.

2. Use the Spleen test while practitioner or client touches the back Adrenal points (directly behind the front Adrenal points). Test one point at a time. By testing the back points, you also gather information about Kidney meridian.

If the front Adrenals points are weak and everything else tests fine, early stage adrenal fatigue may be indicated. You will need to work with Triple Warmer.

If the front and back Adrenal points are out, then in addition to the adrenals, the kidneys may be involved. So you would work with Triple Warmer and Kidney meridians.

3. To be very thorough, challenge the adrenals’ strength by having the client energy localize the Adrenal points as the practitioner touches and tests, in sequence, K27, the Heart Neurolymphatic point, the Triple Warmer Neurovascular point at throat, and the Pineal point (Heart Neurovascular points) at the top of the head. If the client is weak on any of these tests, do the Adrenal corrections.


Restoring the Adrenals:

The Adrenal points - (one inch above the navel and one inch out to either side.)

When the adrenals are exhausted, Triple Warmer goes into overwhelm. Sedating TW is a step toward allowing other interventions to be effective in restoring the adrenals.

However, if the exhaustion is extreme and is approaching or has reached the stage of adrenal burn-out, it is one of the rare situations where TW literally needs to be strengthened.

The following techniques offer some general guidelines for when to sedate and when to strengthen TW.

First, do the obvious. Just as the names “adrenal fatigue,” “exhaustion,” or “burn-out” all suggest, rest is needed. This may require an interruption of normal routines and the enlisting others to fulfill one’s daily responsibilities.

After energy testing for adrenal fatigue or burnout:

1. If any of the Adrenal points are weak, press in and buzz all four points for about 15 seconds per pair. Alternatively, press/buzz a front point and the corresponding back point simultaneously, using a rocking, wave-like motion. Pulsating water jets (i.e., jacuzzi or shower head) on these points is also restorative, as is putting a hot water bottle on the points, sometimes alternating with ice.

2. Hold the TW Neurovasculars (thumbs at the temples, fingers on forehead) for a couple of minutes or until you feel a pulse.

3. Hold the TW Alarm Point (one inch below the navel) while breathing deeply.

4. Hold the acupressure strengthening points on Spleen meridian. Spleen brings harmony, adaptability, and acceptance so the adrenals can feel safe.

5. Hold the TW sedating points. Ask the client to tell you if this is comfortable or “feels right.” If it doesn’t feel right, hold the TW strengthening points, instead.

6. If TW is in a severe reaction, as is found in adrenal burn-out or conditions such as PTSD, hold the TW strengthening points. This produces adrenalin. Again, ask the client if it “feels right.” If it doesn’t, hold the TW sedating points.

7. If TW is in a severe reaction (i.e., adrenal burn-out), do the Three Point Technique on Spleen meridian, but with a variation. During the sedating portion of the technique, hold the points for only half the usual length of time. Then, for the usual length of time, hold the strengthening points and then the Control Points. Another indication for this procedure is if latissimus dorsi (the large Spleen muscle on the back that sits over the kidneys and adrenals) is sore.

8. Adrenal burnout can also be helped by protocols that stimulate the Mingmen point on the Penetrating Flow, and comforting with a blanket of energy (slowly moving the hands from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet, out about a foot from the sides of the body).
