Mixing Essential Oils
One thing about Amy and Scott, we love Aromatherapy. Creating our own blends and mixing essential oils for our massage therapy clients is one of our favorite things to do.
Here are the FUNdamentals of mixing essential oils...
take a 4oz bottle. I use amber, green or blue colored, plastic or glass
clean thoroughly. I use grain alcohol and water or any natural cleaner you feel comfortable with
add your carrier oil to the bottle. Examples are coconut oil, cranberry seed oil, sesame oil, jojoba oil and Shea butter
add a total of 30 to 60 drops of one or more of your favorite essential oils to the bottle
For mixing essential oils in smaller quantities, use 1 tablespoon or half an ounce of carrier oil and add 10 drops of your favorite essential oils.
